Think back to about 1995....Back then if you wanted to camouflage a truck or hunting gear you would get a couple of cans of Camo spray paint and go at it. The end result was usually a blotchy home made pattern that, like it or not, you were stuck with. Back then you would never consider spray-painting Camo on a new truck or firearm or other pieces of valuable equipment. You would have to be crazy about camouflage.....

Well if anybody's crazy about Camo it's Joe. Working out of the garage behind his apartment he got the "idea". The "idea" that there had to be a better way to camouflage real stuff like trucks, boats, and ATV's with real camouflage patterns. Doing something that has never been done before is never an easy road. In fact, there are no roads at all, no path to follow.

So armed with just an "idea" and his simple "nothing is impossible, damn the torpedo's.....full speed ahead!!!" attitude, he set out to just that. He knew that to create a great product, it had to be useful, it had to be easy to apply, it had to be affordable, it had to be tuff, almost like bullet-proof, "and" it had to removable. And because there had never been anything like it before....It had to have a great name.

He successfully partnered with the best names in the business. From 3M® for the raw materials we use, to licensing agreements with Advantage®, Realtree®, and Mossy Oak®, the creators of the best camouflage patterns in the world.

Joe, after two years of research and development, with help for his brother Steve, introduced Camoclad to the world in January of 1997 at the Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoors Trade Show (SHOT). And the rest is history.....and so Camoclad® was born.

Today 2009- Camoclad, Inc. is a full service manufacturer offering camouflage solutions and services to the hunting industry and awesome camouflage application products to you, "Our Friends in the field". We are still partnered with the best name in the business, and we still manufacture the best camouflage system on the planet.

And, Yes Sir..... It's all manufactured right here in the good ol' USA.
